Give your Wife/Husband/Partner a box of Chocs/bunch of flowers/big kiss/new kite (delete as appropriate)
Then bring them along for a mornings kite flying in Sutton Park

To update directions in these days of Google Earth and Satnav

Weather forecast for Sunday is dry, cold, northerly wind around 7MPH
So lighter wind kites, thermos flask and don't bother with your galloshes :D
